Our 'Bricks & Mortar' Store

In 2014 we took our first step into retail, opening a small shop Niche Gifts & Specialist Whiskies at The Avenue Shopping Centre in Newton Mearns. The first half of the shop had all our gifts, cards and wrap, which then lead into our Whisky Cellar at the rear of the shop.

We offered a relaxed shopping environment. Many of our regular customers would take their time browsing, looking for the perfect gift, often months in advance. We were always happy to see customers, both old and new and liked hearing our customer’s stories (that is, of course, if they wished to tell them!).

Niche Online

In 2017, we launched Niche Gifts & Specialist Whiskies Online, opening our wee shop up to the big wide world of internet shopping.

Now, 3 and a half years later, with all trends in retail pointing towards online shopping, we decided to close the store in Newton Mearns to focus on Niche Online.
